GRANDRODEO X G-Shock DW6900 Collaboration

A limited edition DW6900 GRANDRODEO X G-Shock has been spotted on a Japanese website. These G-Shocks are limited to 1000 pieces which will include a custom engraved case back. G Spotting: Johnny Nguyen; Actor, Stuntman, Performer

I’ve watched Johnny on the TV for as long as I can remember, although not as an actor or stunt man, but as a Vietnamese performer (also by his Vietnamese name, not Johnny Nguyen). I have to say he was never one of my favorite performances, I think I’ll be looking forward to his performances now that I know he’s a G-Shock fan like myself. WatchUSeek forum member Ivt recently posted some pictures from Johnny’s photoshoot and boy was it G-Shock filled. His G-Shocks seemed to always in the perfect angle towards the camera you are prone to wondering if Casio had anything to do with it. As for his acting, Johnny is still a rising star working besides Jet Li for ‘Cradle 2 the Grave’. Without a doubt you definitely know Johnny’s stunt work (whether you realize it or not) he’s done stunts for the recent movie; X-Men First Class, and both Spiderman 1 and 2.

50Gs: ‘Green’ G6900EW-7DR G-Shock

A few years ago I passed by the G-Shock counter at Macy’s. The ‘Green’ collection really caught my eye but I was simply not going to spend $100 on a watch, keep in mind this was a long time before I caught G-Fever. Anyways back to the present. New 8900 G-Shock Series

A new 8900 series have popped up in the Casio Japan watch catalog that includes the GW-8900-1JF, GW-8900A-1JF and GW-8900A-7JF (all atomic) due to release in Japan this fall. Read more about these G-Shocks over at My G-Shock here.

“Men In Smoky Gray” G-Shocks

A new series called “Men In Smoky Gray” is joining the line up of G-Shocks. According to My G-Shock there are three a limited edition atomic models due to release in Japan. They include the GW-9300GY-1JF Mudman, GW-9200GYJ-1JF Riseman and the GW-8110GY-1JF Gulfman. Export markets have the non-atomic version of these watches. Coming in September. Source: My G-Shock.
